December 2025 — The Full Story

The Truth About the December 2025 Video

A viral video got it wrong. Here's what actually happened, and why I've always served families of every background.

FOX 11 Los Angeles — December 9, 2025

In December 2025, a video went viral claiming I was an ICE agent. It wasn't true. The Orange County Register and FOX 11 Los Angeles both reported the facts, and I'm grateful they did.

“Bail bondsman targeted after viral video falsely claimed he was an ICE agent”

On December 9, 2025, FOX 11 Los Angeles reported the story accurately. The headline was: "Bail bondsman targeted after viral video falsely claimed he was an ICE agent." I am grateful they took the time to get the facts.

What Was Actually Happening

I was doing my job on a bond for a client who had missed court. When a defendant doesn't appear, a bail agent is responsible for helping return them to court, and the cosigner who trusted the system is the one at risk.

Before I ever arrived, my Spanish-speaking agent reached out and offered to walk the client into court himself, to make it easy. That offer was turned down.

Someone filmed part of what happened, and within hours the story online was that I was ICE.

I am not ICE. I have never worked for ICE. I am a licensed California bail agent, CDI License #1845390, and my job is to help people get home and keep their court dates.

Who a Bond Protects

Every bond has a cosigner behind it: a mother, a wife, a brother, someone who put their name on the line out of love. When a defendant skips court, that family member carries the risk.

Returning a client to court protects the family who trusted me. That's what the video didn't show.

I Was Already on Record Before Any of This Happened

I wasn't suddenly speaking up for immigrant families after a viral video. I was already there, publicly and in writing.

I have pages on this site explaining that I write bonds for people regardless of immigration status: citizens, residents, visa holders, and people without papers. I have a Spanish-speaking agent and Spanish-language pages so families can understand the process in their own language.

As I told FOX 11: "I actually help immigrants."

What I Want the Community to Know

I understand why people were upset. A short video with no context, at a time when many families are afraid, is going to cause a reaction. I'm not angry about it.

I've served families in every situation for nearly twenty years. I don't ask about immigration status to judge anyone. I ask only when it affects how I can help.

If you or someone you love is in jail and you're afraid to call because of what you saw, call me. I'll tell you exactly what I can do and what I can't. No judgment.
